Adebayor: im staying

June 27, 2008

adebayor Adebayor: im stayingEmmanuel Adebayor has quashed reports that he is going to leave Arsenal. The Gunners hitman has been targeted by both Barcelona and Ac Milan.

Adebayor said…

”I am an Arsenal player and have three years left on my contract. The most important thing for me is to keep on enjoying my football. I’m staying at Arsenal.”

Milan had earlier stated that they are only going to go for two players who are Ronadlhino and Adebayor.

Milan President said…

“There is a ‘yes’ from coach Carlo Ancelotti to go for the Brazilian.  It’s Ronaldinho or Adebayor. Buying one excludes taking the other.”

Is Didier staying…?

June 14, 2008

drogba1 Is Didier staying...?DidDidier Drogba has made a possible u-turn at Chelsea by saying he intends to stay. Drogba has been the centre of a transfer tug with Ac Milan and Inter Milan supposedly interested in the Chelsea hitman. Didier has said that he is going to leave on numerous times over the last year but now has took a step back.

He said…

”I have a contract with Chelsea until 2010, so I am still a Chelsea player, Mourinho is my friend and I am happy for him because he was missing coaching. He is a top coach but, like I said, my contract here runs until 2010.”

This is great news for Chelsea as they look to rebuild for next season. There were fears that many Chelsea players could leave but with “Big Phil” at the helm many could have made u-turns.

Ancelotti to stick knife in Chelsea

June 5, 2008

Didier DrogbaAfter turning down Russian Billionaire Roman Abramovich Carlo Ancelotti has now demanded Ac Milan to sign Didier Drogba. Ancelotti said he and the Ac Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani had an agreement thet if Carlo stayed they would sign Chelsea hitman Didier Drogba.

Adriano Galliani then said….

“We spoke to Peter Kenyon and we have the very best of relations. We spoke about Drogba, we spoke about Shevchenko, we spoke about lots of players.”

Didier would not come on the cheap and with Chelsea not having a manager, Milan might have to wait a little while before getting his man.

Arsenal in big trouble?

May 27, 2008

Arsenal are in a real crisis as their young stars are beginning to look elsewhere and leave the club.

Who is on their way..?

Firstly Mathieu Flamini has left for Ac Milan, news broke out last week that Alexander Hleb had bought out his contract and his on his way to Inter Milan. Emmanuel Adebayor has demanded £80,000 a week or he will go. While Real Madrid have made Cesc Fabregas their number one target.

What can Arsene Wenger do about it..?

He wants to keep his wage structure there but in today’s football you cant do it. Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool all pay their players a lot of money but Arsenal quite simply cant afford it.

Why is there no funds available..?

Mostly because of their new stadium. Its costing so much to run that Arsenal haven’t got any money to be able to buy the players required.

Is there any hope for them..?

Yes, he goes by the name of Alisher Usmanov, a Russian billionaire who has offered to help Arsenal. But chairmen Peter Hill-Wood and director Danny Fiszman have said there is no chance of that.

Arsenal fans will hope that they splash the cash to keep their stars are face losing them to their European rivals.

Drogba off to Ac..?

May 27, 2008

Didier Drogba has never hidden the fact that he wants to leave Chelsea for a new challenge. This summer could be the time he fulfills that dream.

What has Drogba said..?

Well he believes he cant achieve anything more at Chelsea and a year and a half ago now he met with Ac Milan’s president and told them to get the money and make the move possible.

Would Ac Milan buy him..?

Yes they certainly would and with Jose Mourinho in the running to take Carlos Ancelottti’s job a move looks deadly certain. Milan are not happy with the season they have had and a few player’s will be coming and going. Especially if they get Jose Mourinho.

Would Chelsea sell him..?

Yes they would, in fact there already looking for replacements, Dimitar Berbatov and David Villa have been names linked with Chelsea as they move on from Drogba. Also Avram Grant has been unhappy with Didier’s form and would be willing to sell him for around £15m.

So it’s looking like the end of an era for Chelsea and Drogba but I’m looking forward to see who else Milan buy.

Adebayor staying or going..?

May 27, 2008

Emannuel Adebayor’s future at Arsenal is still in doubt after he confessed he is flattered to be linked with the likes of Ac Milan and Barcelona and he also said it is his dream to play for Barcelona.

Why would he be willing to leave Arsenal..?

Well he stated last week that he didn’t want to leave Arsenal and also he has asked for about 80,000 to stay at Arsenal. But the interest from Barca seems to have prompted a u-turn and he is now willing to leave if he doesn’t get his 80,000 a week.

Would Barca make an offer..?

I believe they would because they look they are going to lose Ronaldhino and Etoo and Thierry Henry’s future is still uncertain and also Eidur Gudjohnson looking elsewhere, they would be looking for replacements and Adebayor is fits that bill.

Arsene Wenger had better hope he doesn’t lose any more of his stars or all of Arsenal’s hope and promise of last season could be gone and they could drop out of the top four.

Ac Milan in Uefa Cup

May 26, 2008

Ac milan’s hopes of luring big name players have been dealt with a huge blow, they failed to finish fourth in the serie A and have to play in the Uefa Cup.

What happened on the last day..?

Milan put in a stunning display to beat Udinese 4-1 but relied on Torino beating Fiorentina to get the fourth place. Fiorentina left it late but a stunning bicycle kick from Pablo Osvaldo gave them the lead in 75th minute. They held on and made Champions League giants Ac play in the lower tier of European football.

What effect will this have on Milan…?

Well Ancelotti Ac’s manager has denied claims he is off and is looking to re-build and make a push for the serie A next season. Milan will be unwilling to let players leave but it could hinder the likes of Ronaldhino and Etoo going to the club. Their own stars like Kaka would be reluctant to leave but i bet Real Madrid would test him by offering him a staggering contract and Champions League football next year.

Ac Milan gave got some serious building to do as they looked terribly off the pace throughout the season, maybe their “golden oldies” have come to the end of their great careers.
