The Man City chairmen, Thaksin Shinawatra praised the former Man Utd player for his achievements at Blackburn.  He said…

“He’s an outstanding manager who has achieved many things with Blackburn. These are exciting times for Manchester City and I hope the supporters can understand that I share their goals.”

This news will please City fans after they were not happy with the sacking of Sven Goran Erikkson and im sure they are hoping he keeps faith in the knew manager.

Man Utd to add to Rovers pain

June 3, 2008

Roque Santa CruzMan Utd are seriously thinking about making an offer for Blackburn hitman Roque Santa Cruz. United are planning a £15m offer which would tempt Blackburn into selling the striker. This news comes at the wrong time after their boss Mark Hughes is in talks with Man City about taking over the Eastlands club.

How would Roque fit in at Man Utd..?

Well with Louis Saha on his way out Fergie is looking for a hitman who deadly duo Ronaldo and Rooney can play off. They see Berbatov a bit too expensive and Roque has already proved his pedigree in the Premier League last season.

Blackburn will be hoping United do not push through with the deal and they can keep their top scorer.
