Fergie reveals Berbatov bid

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed who his sole transfer target is after signalling his intent to sign Dimitar Berbatov. Fergie revealed that Man Utd have made an offer to Tottenham for the Bulgarian striker.
He said…
”We have made Tottenham an offer on Berbatov and we have good expectations that this deal will go through. Berbatov has been impressive during a long time and would be a great addition to our attack.”
Man Utd’s only obstacle is the continued interest by Barcelona. They are monitoring the situation with Berbatov and may pounce after the sale of Ronaldhino to AC Milan.
Fergie continued…
“I think time will work for us more than against us. We will not stress this situation. We are hoping to have a constructive conversation with Tottenham in the near future.”
Many believe the signing of Berbatov may be to replace Ronaldo who has been strongly linked with Real Madrid.
Eto’o snubs Spurs

Barcelona’s Samuel Eto’o has turned a big money move to North London team Tottenham Hotspur.
What did he say about Spurs…
“Tottenham and I hope the English excuse me for saying this, is a club in the middle of the table and I need more.”
He then spoke about other possibilities…
“I have a contract with Barcelona until 2010 and I feel well here. But I cannot exclude the option of Inter.”
The news about Inter will alert Chelsea who are also keen on signing the Cameroonian ace. The Blues have been linked with a £22m offer but without no manager they have to be wary in case the knew manager doesn’t like them.
Clubs line up to sign Welsh Whizkid Aaron Ramsey

Premiership clubs a lining up to sign Cardiff City’s star Aaron Ramsey. Man Utd,Liverpool amd Arsenal are among the many clubs who want to sign the 17-year old and he has been aloud to speak to all of the clubs interested in him.
Race hots up…
The race got intense last night after Man Utd claimed to have struck a deal with Cardiff over Ramsey. This news prompted other clubs like Tottenham and Everton to inquire about the Welshman.
Why do clubs want to sign Ramsey..
Well he has been seen as the best player since Ryan Giggs to come out of Wales and has already become the youngest ever player to appear in an FA Cup final. He is an established member of the U21 Wales team and is already pushing for a place in the senior team.
Who is leading the race..
Well Man Utd seem to have the edge as they have agreed to let Ramsey go back on loan at Cardiff for one more season. But other teams like Tottenham also have plus points such as Aaron’s friends Gareth Bale and Chris Gunter both part of the Tottenham team.
It will be a difficult decision for Ramsey but what ever team he choose’s he has a very bright future in front of him.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking for funds in the summer, the only way to find them is buy selling some of their best players, like Dimitar Berbatov.
Where is he moving to..?
A few teams have been mentioned but to be honest nobody knows. Real Madrid,Barcelona,Ac Milan and long term admirers Manchester United will have their eyes on the situation and I’m sure it will be one of those teams.
Does Dimitar Want To Leave..?
For a long time he has been linked with a move away form White Hart Lane but he has always said he wants to stay. But Tottenham feel they can get around £25m for him, they see it as an opportunity to make some money and reinvest in other players.
Who Will Replace Him..?
Tottenham have already signed Luka Modric for £15 million and are being strongly linked with Barcelona ace Samuel Etoo. Tottenham’s manager, Juande Ramos, stated that he wants to challenge the top four clubs and to do that he must invest in the players. Etoo would cost around £25m and would be an ideal replacement for Berbatov.
It should be very interesting this summer and keep an eye on Spurs, as they will be doing the most business

Tottenham have reportedly outbidded Italian giants Ac and Inter milan. They have offered a staggering £24m which is £8m more than either of the other clubs.
Will the deal go through..?
It is going to take some time but Spurs are leading the race. They know the fight isnt over as they cannot offer Champions League football next season where as Inter can. Another barrier is the wages of Etoo. He wants about £107,000 a week and that would have to break Totenhams wage structure.
Would Eto go to Spurs..?
There is a mini revolution going on at Spurs and its hard to say if he wants to be part of it. Also if any bigger clibs from England come then he will certainly be more tempted by them. So it all depends if he gets any better offers. If not then i think he would want to show that he can do it in England and that he is one of the best strikers in the world.
If Spurs do get him then it would give them a realistic chance of not just challenging the top four but challenging for the title.
